RIM Gets The Big Five Shifts Motorola Out

Market penetration of smart phones (smartphones) increasing globally. Various vendors try to snatch this market niche, with products poured stunning smartphone.

In the first quarter of 2010, no fewer than 294.9 million units of smartphones globally circulated. This figure was recorded up 21.7% from the previous year which only 242.4 million units. From these results, the growth of the mobile market in 2010 was recorded soared 11%.

There is an interesting based on the results of a global market research, market penetration and 'market share' of the mobile product vendors claim. When years ago, the big five positions for large vendors is still held by the popular manufacturer of we know, so this time there was little change.

RIM (Research in Motion), as the manufacturer of the BlackBerry made it into the top five manufacturers with the highest market share. RIM has managed to shift the Motorola, which is no longer visible from the data entered the top five positions.


Results ranking of five (5) big mobile phone manufacturers based on data that is 1) Nokia, 2) Samsung, 3) LG Electronics, 4) Research in Motion (RIM) and 5) Sony Ericsson.

RIM is now growing strongly, with a large market in Asia Pacific. In fact, with the advent of the BlackBerry OS 6 news, RIM would be more predictable prestige rose. Meanwhile, Samsung and LG appear even more stunning with a variety of touch screen mobile phone. Android also believed to impact on the state will attract more consumers, through mobile phones of this type seems to become more loved vendors, in gaining market share.
